How false testimony about Tylenol and autism failed in court, was repackaged as “peer-reviewed” junk science, and is now driving Trump’s dangerous medical advice.
My guess is that Kennedy’s clown car simply decided that Tylenol was the low hanging fruit they needed for a scalp.
I’m not going to presume to tell you anything you don’t already know about concerns regarding Tylenol (I very much appreciate your efforts and am humbled by your demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of PH topics). Though if I had to guess the direction they’ll go with propaganda is that of oxidative stress > glutathione depletion > autism, regardless that a variety of drugs can be argued to have the same issue.
Thanks again for everything. Your posts are a great resource for me and my MPH offspring.
If you listen to the podcast episode (I know it’s an hour long), I expect they’ll circle the wagons with a claimed link between Tylenol, Leucovorin, MTHFR, vaccines — plus they’ll be hawking fake health tests for gene variants and “detox” protocols while they’re at it.
This is beyond horrifying. It’s one thing for Kennedy to bark out bullshit that we can all make fun of. (And we should.) It is another for the White House to lend credibility to an action plan that is utterly dangerous.
Dr. Love, I continue to appreciate your willingness to be a sane and informed voice in the midst of so much incompetence and insanity. I do feel bad when you get trolled by people who probably couldn’t explain research methodology if they were standing in front of a firing squad. It is totally unwarranted. But I know Kennedy and a plethora of goons in this administration set this poor example, and many weak people have followed suit.
Given the shameless guidance from the White House, I can’t help but wonder if obstetricians who recommend acetaminophen might now be targeted by unstable people. Or if pediatricians who know that there is no cure for autism will also be the target of threats or violence if they don’t prescribe snake oil? This is a dangerous path.
If you read the article linked within, I go through the entire process of diagnostic criteria evaluation. I wrote that one months ago, perhaps you didn’t bother reading it? Just trolling here?

Thanks for your response. I’ll listen to the whole cast when I get time this evening.
Evidence? We ain't got no evidence. We don't need no evidence. I don't have to show you any stinking evidence!

Thank you!
What do you think is responsible for the wild surge in the rate of ASD?

No, I did not read that. Is my question a tough one?
I think you can find the article and read the content that’s already provided. I don’t need to repeat it.

I read it.
Shameless conjecture.
