I'm not sure which is worse, EWG or Non-GMO Project. Maybe they're two peas in the same fear-mongering pod.

Thank you so much. This is so helpful. I am so sick of the claims that basically all food is poison. I keep thinking about the episode Dr. Mike did with Dr. Makary last year maybe? and he was fear mongering about strawberries being laced with pesticides. I don’t understand what these people want us to eat! Ugh.

I found your comments reveling to me, for I had an ill-founded blind trust in the veracity of The Dirty Dozen. You will probably save me hundreds of $$ a year in grocery shopping alone. As a small token, I immediately signed up as a paying annual subscriber.

One of the greatest fears I have in foodstuff contamination is the widespread usage of Round-up throughout the USA.

And how tainted are imported fruits and vegetables? Do they have USDA surveillance? Are they held to the same standards as grown in the US? Do fruits from Peru that are "organic" use the same "natural" pesticides.

And can you trust greenhouse grown tomatoes and leafy greens to be less sprayed with pesticide, fungicides, etc?

Not exactly to your point in today's newsletter, but a mention here of another Dr. Love, in the context of misuse of data: https://www.ted.com/talks/molly_crockett_beware_neuro_bunk/transcript?user_email_address=4d63c781632483d6aaf2d3ea8bc62592&lctg=62d1babd547336081462f924
