Great stuff Dr. Love! I am terrified of RFK Jr. and his ilk. I really hope information like this can get to enough people (but me thinks its a steep uphill battle.)
Jeck, I had a similar reaction. It seems ick. But Dr. Love laid out a really convincing argument. Her basic point is that food dyes derived from petroleum are not the original product. It seems like the same principle as methanol and ethanol, while both alcohols, are totally different things. Petroleum and petroleum based products are wholly different due to the chemistry used. We've all had the appeal to nature fallacy thrown at us so long by the wellness industry that its hard to separate out. Our brains just scream "bad" even though as Dr. Love explains, it really is pretty harmless.

Thank you for you continued work to clear up all the misinformation! I share your posts regularly and hope that some people read them.
Somehow still, petroleum-derived food ingredients strikes me as stuff to avoid. Thanks, but no thanks.
