This is a superb and critically important piece. Dr. Love not only articulates the long-standing and deeply harmful record of David Geier, but also delivers a clear and urgent warning about the dangers posed by RFK Jr.’s ascent to a position of influence over public health policy. This is not a fringe movement—it is pseudoscience being legitimized at the federal level. The consequences are profound, both for individual health and for public trust in scientific and medical institutions. Thank you, Dr. Love, for your unwavering commitment to evidence-based science communication and for calling out this threat with the clarity and moral urgency it demands.

Let me offer a 2nd or is it a 3rd 🤗 haha to Dr. Stiller stated most eloquently & with true praise for an excellent post...Dr. Love thank you

Possibly a minor typo...David Geier is a real and serious threat.

He is... being given a larger and more dangerous platform to re-legitimize the same illegal and dangerous pseudoscience he pushed on children.

I will willingly share this information to underscore the dangers of the idiot (yes being kind) given his position at HHS.

I shared an aside in a seperate comment on another Substack...OMG as if the horrors playout at HHS is not a real life nightmare, compounded by Musk, your military is being led by another petulant ass (apology is required, the vernacular) & the long list of misfits he shared, what is clearly highly sensitive & by most objective account "Secret Intelligence".

As dangerous as the latter is, what is equally disconcerting ( once again we run the gambit of our lexicon to apply the appropriate adjective) the military actions that were carried out killed people. There is no 'glory' in a military operations & those celebrating is such an egregious manner should be ashamed of their behavior.

We all need to make noise about this! As you said, it’s not a debate. It’s fact versus fiction. This is akin to referring to the “climate change debate.” There’s no legitimate debate. It’s happening. It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that a gaggle of incompetents is placing our lives in danger.

Very well done! My BP started boiling over while reading it. This phrase is quite an understatement though (not be be critical, but to extra emphasize), "And humanity will suffer irreparable damage as a result.". We already have. How many people have died and have been made to suffer due to the actions of these parasites, and how many more will? Worse - they won't be held accountable with the current administration. I couldn't help but also think that the folks that paid for the services did so out of their own pockets. We have to hold the Senators and VP that voted for RFKJr accountable (along with their votes for the other incompetents) in the next elections. Hopefully, it won't be too late.

As a layman who is fascinated by health, Dr. Love has become an invaluable resource. This article underscores why science literacy is so important. I will continue supporting Dr. Love and other science communicators. We desperately need them.

Thank you (cubed) for a brilliant piece. The criminal grift being played out by this administration is going exponential and you are a bulwark against the anti science fraudsters in charge of this disaster in progress. And unfortunately your work will not be done anytime soon.

This is an adjacent topic, but worth sharing. From Dr. Sanjay Gupta:

Some measles patients in West Texas show signs of vitamin A toxicity, doctors say, raising concerns about misinformation

Doctors treating people hospitalized as part of a measles outbreak in Texas and New Mexico have also found themselves facing another problem: vitamin A toxicity.

At Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, near the outbreak’s epicenter, several patients have been found to have abnormal liver function on routine lab tests, a probable sign that they’ve taken too much of the vitamin, according to Dr. Lara Johnson, pediatric hospitalist and chief medical officer for Covenant Health-Lubbock Service Area.

US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy has centered his response to the outbreak on vitamin A, even suggesting in a Fox News interview that it could work “as a prophylaxis.”

But overuse of vitamin A can have serious health consequences, and there is no evidence that it can prevent measles.

The only way to prevent infection with the measles virus is through the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, which is 97% effective against measles after two doses. Kennedy has said that he does “encourage” vaccination but that it is a “personal choice.”

“If people have the mistaken impression that you have an either-or choice of MMR vaccine or vitamin A, you’re going to get a lot of kids unnecessarily infected with measles. That’s a problem, especially during an epidemic,” said Dr. Peter Hotez, co-director of the Texas Children’s Hospital Center for Vaccine Development.

Au contraire, adjunctprofessorenerits ☹️

Hundreds of true scientists have contributed to likely a similar number of peer reviewed (accredited unbiased experts) articles that have demonstrated unequivocally

** vaccines do Not cause autisim **

Those who repeat this proven myth, will not change what is known to be true.

What has resulted from those misinformed (true for some individuals) & those who intentionally lie, the deaths of two individuals recently in the USA, hundreds of not more than a 1,000 cases (read Dr. Eric Topol post) of measles that could have been prevented.

Mr/Ms you can believe what you may but you are endangering others with your lack of understanding true/factual science ☹️

Free speech is granted by your 1st Amendment (I stand corrected) in Canada we have Charter protection, regardless no one has the moral authority to endanger another individual.

Repeating the mantra: "vaccines do not cause autism" is not the sign of a scientific mind. You are a danger to free minds.
